With Canopsis webhooks, automate the sending of Canopsis data to third-party softwares!
Canopsis webhooks feature enables data to be sent automatically to external tools.
Thanks to this engine, Canopsis transmits information in real time to any application capable of receiving HTTP requests. This can be data from alarms, scheduled actions, enrichments…
In fact, a webhook functions as an automatic trigger when a specific condition is met, for example :
- alarm creation,
- alarm status change,
- execution of a remedial action…
The message sent can be customized via Go templates, to adapt the content and format of the request to the needs of the recipient system.
Canopsis webhooks make the platform highly interoperable, facilitating integration with tools such as:
- ITSM platforms (iTop, ServiceNow, etc.),
- notification solutions (Gotify),
- or messaging services (Teams, Mattermost…).
In short, Canospis webhooks are an essential link in the automation of interactions between our hypervision solution and its ecosystem, reducing manual intervention and accelerating operational responsiveness.
Update 2025: Multi-url scenario
It is now possible to run the same Canopsis webhook on several URLs simultaneously.
To do this, the “URL” field accepts a comma-separated list of addresses. Each of the defined URLs then receives the request.
A complete configuration example is available in the ticket declaration rules documentation.
