Link generator

Thanks to the Canopsis link generator, it is now possible to define link generation policies allowing, for example, :

• Link an alarm to its original monitoring tool
• Bounce to the incident ticket created on a third-party platform
• Redirect the user to a procedure
• Present an entity’s inventory sheet

The link generator also features an advanced mode allowing to write custom functions in Javascript language. So you can fully describe the desired final link using high-level language!

The links generated are accessible:

• From alarm list columns
• From context explorer columns
• From a template
• From the menu of unit actions
• From the menu of mass actions

✅ Update 2024: Variable suggestions in the JavaScript code editor

It now suggests variables for the following objects:

• alarm: all variables associated with the alarm targeted by the
  manager (also includes “alarm.Entity.xx” and “alarm.ExternalData.xx” variables)
• env: all environment variables referenced in the toml file
• user: variables related to the user running the link generator
