SNMP traps

Canopsis supports SNMP input traps to enable you to monitor all your compatible equipment: switches, routers, UPS, servers, etc.

Incoming SNMP messages are automatically analyzed, transformed into events and processed according to the rules you define.

Canopsis SNMP rules allow you to:

• Trigger alarms when critical traps are received
• Dynamically extract additional attributes from trap contents
• Automatically add business or technical tags for better routing and analysis
• Filter, classify and enrich traps according to customizable regular expressions
• Create context-sensitive alarms in the Canopsis alarm list
