Just released, Canopsis V23.04 unveils no less than five new features. From the metrology to the link manager module, we tell you all about the exiting innovations in this major release.
The metrology widget
- Exclusive to Canopsis Pro Edition
Promise made, promise kept: metrology makes its debut in Canopsis 23.04!
Our Open Source hypervision solution now includes representation widgets enabling you to obtain a graph for each metric received on each alarm.
4 types are available:
- Pie chart
- Histogram
- Bar chart
- Counter
The ticketing module
- Exclusive to Canopsis Pro Edition
Before this update, when a pilot wanted to interact with a ticket declaration tool, he used the Scenario module coupled with the “declareticket” trigger.
Canopsis is now equipped with a dedicated ticketing feature wich included:
- defining ticket declaration rules for one or more tools,
- processing their API returns,
- declaring of a ticket by one or more selected alarms,
- and viewing the history of declared tickets for an alarm.
The link manager in Canopsis V23.04
Until Canopsis V22.10, a link generation system was available. On the other hand, it required Python development skills.
With our new version, you can define link generation policies that allow you to:
- link an alarm to its original supervision tool,
- bounce to the incident ticket created on a third-party platform,
- redirect the user to a procedure,
- and display an entity’s inventory sheet.
Graphic themes
Canopsis 23.04 introduces a “graphic themes” module. There are currently two user-related models: classic Canopsis and color-blind Canopsis.
Each has a dark variant, and in the future, you’ll be able to customize all interface colors and logos. For a Canopsis that reflects your image!
Widget templates
In most of the solution’s widgets, you can define :
- columns with parameters,
- templates to display more information about alarms,
- and service weather widget templates
But when you have several widgets to configure identically, the task is tedious and time-consuming…
We have therefore added to Canopsis V23.04 the ability to define templates in a general way and apply them to the desired widgets:
This saves you a considerable amount of time when defining templates.
