Roadmap Canopsis Fonctionnalité auto-remédiation automatic remediation

With the automatic remediation, you have the power to execute an instruction without human intervention!

Advance gauge
Active feature 100%

It is now possible to define a guideline/remediation as manual or automatic remediation. In the latter case, jobs will run without human intervention.

If the guideline is successful, the alarm will not be presented to the pilot, and will be included directly in the Canopsis statistics.

If the alarm persists after the automated guideline has been executed, it is presented to the pilots.

:bulb: Update 2025: Retry policy for failed remediations

Remediation configuration now includes the option of setting a timeout period. Once this time has elapsed, Canopsis checks the alarm status to determine whether the remediation has been successful.

If the alarm is still unresolved, a retry policy can be set up to automatically restart remediation.

A new run can also be triggered when a particular event occurs on the alarm, such as:

  • a change in criticality (increase, decrease or change via the dedicated action)
  • a standby output
  • a start or an end of periodic behavior
  • a “check” event reception…
