Roadmap Canopsis Fonctionnalité bagot flapping

Use the Flapping feature to spot alarms with fluctuating status!

Progression
Active feature 100%

The Flapping feature provides a mechanism for tracking status oscillations, identifying a number of status changes for a given period and alarm family.

An alarm inherits this status when it oscillates from an alert criticality to a stable state a certain number of times over a given period.

The parameters requested when creating a flapping rule are as follows:

  • The period over which oscillations are observed
  • The rule application priority in ascending order
  • The number of criticality oscillations to be observed before switching to the status
  • The rule description
  • The alarms or entities to which the rule applies (patterns)
