As we saw a few days ago, Canopsis 23.04 introduces five new features! But a major release also means the possibility of upgrading existing software.
This week, we take a look at the 3 enhancements offered by this release: the additional displays on the service weather module, the repository import improvement and the Prometheus connector 2.0.
Additional displays on the service weather module
It is now possible to display additional counters on service weather tiles.
These meters concern:
- severity of entities,
- entities with periodic behavior,
- acknowledged and unacknowledged entities.

Improving repository sync in Canopsis 23.04
- Exclusive to Canopsis Pro Edition
With the “import-context-graph” command, you can use enrichment rules to import repository information in advance, thus enriching the entities managed by Canopsis.
The mechanism can now be used to import resources, components and services.
In addition, various actions have been made available to facilitate data transformation:
- set: from a constant
- copy: by copying an API response
- template: by applying a template (which can use an API response)
- regexp: by executing a capture group via a regular expression
Revamping the Prometheus connector
The Prometheus data connector – more specifically “alertmanager” – has been rewritten in GO language.
The previous version suffered from a bug that prevented reconnection to the service after an unexpected shutdown. The bug has now been corrected!
