With Canopsis Virtual conversation agent, interact with a chatbot within the solution!
Based on natural language, Canopsis Chatbot agent is an intelligent intermediary to one or more conversational AI services (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral…), adapting to your preferences and internal tools.
Connecting the agent to your own LLM or to third-party AI APIs allows you to comply with your security and sovereignty constraints.
This AI assistant provides Canopsis users with a virtual conversation agent capable of:
- Answering formulated questions
- Carrying out requested actions
- Proposing to execute actions
- Delivering relevant information to diverse user populations
In short, the aim of the Chatbot agent is to make interaction with Canopsis as smooth as possible, whether you’re new to the platform or use it intensively.
The first version of the AI assistant lets you program patterns in natural language directly in Canopsis.
In fact, it can generate, validate, and correct pattern structures for matching alarms, entities, and periodic behaviors.
The Chatbot agent’s capabilities will be extended over time to become the companion of all your actions in Canopsis.

2026 Update: Search assistance for pilots, MCP implementation, and multi-LLM compatibility
The second version of ChatOps Canopsis introduces a new search assistance feature: pilots can now enter their search queries in natural language, without having to master any specific technical syntax!
The MCP, or Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that allows AI assistants to connect to external tools and data in a standardized way. When applied to Canopsis, it will pave the way for direct interactions between AI assistants and the platform, using natural language:
- query the alarm list,
- trigger an action,
- retrieve some information…
Finally, the Canopsis chatbot currently uses Gemini. With Canopsis 26.10 and its multi-LLM compatibility, you’ll be able to choose the AI assistant of your choice to interact with your hypervisor.
