Canopsis 26.04 is now available, and it’s a milestone release! After 15 years of development and continuous evolution, our French open source hypervision solution has reached a new milestone: the integration of artificial intelligence at the heart of the platform.
Here’s what’s new for your teams 🚀
Introducing AI to Canopsis 26.04
An AI assistant to create your filters in natural language

This is the flagship new feature of Canopsis 26.04: a Chatbot is now integrated into the interface. It can be accessed from any modal containing a pattern editor.
More concretely, what does this change?
Previously, creating or modifying a complex filter meant mastering the JSON format. With Canopsis 26.04, that’s a thing of the past! You describe what you want in natural language and the wizard understands, suggests, corrects and generates the corresponding filter. It knows which fields are available and the constraints specific to each type of rule.
The wizard is based on Google’s Gemini templates, configurable from: Administration → Custom objects → LLMs.
This is the first step. The Capensis team has already announced that it is working on compatibility with other LLMs, including internally hosted models. This means that organizations subject to security or sovereignty constraints will also be able to benefit.
This is a major step forward… But it’s only the beginning! Visit the Canopsis roadmap to discover the next updates for the AI assistant.
Anomaly detection also arrives in Canopsis 26.04
Alongside the AI assistant, Canopsis 26.04 also introduces an event streamanomaly detection service . It is currently in alpha phase.
Based on Isolation Forest models, this service analyzes the volume of events received per connector, and reports abnormal behavior. Too many events, too few: both cases are detected automatically.
Monitoring is managed from the Administration menu in Canopsis 26.04. You activate or deactivate connector-by-connector monitoring. The status of each monitored connector is then displayed in a new, dedicated Healthcheck tab.
Three states are possible:
✅ OK,
❌ KO,
❔ Insufficient data.
It’s an experimental feature: it’s going to evolve quickly, so you might as well try it out now! As with the Chatbot feature, check the Canopsis roadmap regularly for the latest updates.

New features designed with teams in mind
Beyond AI, Canopsis 26.04 also brings a number of much-awaited innovations to our hypervision solution community!
A new alarm status: Unknown
When a parent entity fails, child entities may now appear with status Unknown. This indicates that their problem is probably a consequence of the parent and not an autonomous failure.
The result: fewer unnecessary tickets and a clearer picture of the situation.

Comment templates
In Canopsis 26.04, drivers can now use comment templates to structure and standardize their feedback on alarms.
Composed of structured fields defined as mandatory or optional (time spent, problems encountered, notes…), the templates can be customized from the administration.
To sum up, standardizing the comments entered enables :

Concrete improvements for everyday life
UI: graphical reorganization of menus, redesign of the mass actions panel and update of the Jodit editor
Canopsis 26.04 brings several concrete improvements to the user interface.
The Administration menu has been completely redesigned to offer clearer, more intuitive navigation. At the same time, the mass actions panel has also been redesigned for greater readability and efficiency in day-to-day use.
The Jodit editor also benefits from a major update: new features, enhanced stability, security fixes and better overall performance. Table insertion and visual formatting are now simplified, for a smoother editing experience.
All in all, this version focuses on ergonomics and comfort for operational teams.
Alarm list: multi-column sorting settings
The alarm list widget can now be sorted by default over several columns, with a customizable order that can be reused thanks to widget templates. No more settings lost when reloading!
Ticketing: ticket status synchronization via API
Canopsis now automatically tracks the status of tickets created via the platform by regularly querying external ticketing tools. Teams can now access this information directly from the interface, without having to switch tools.
Filters: pattern optimizer
Canopsis 26.04 also includes a pattern optimizer. This feature analyzes filters using regexp and suggests optimizations to boost query performance.
You then receive several suggestions, sorted by relevance. You compare, choose and simply apply the best possible optimization.
What Canopsis 26.04 has to say about the product’s trajectory
This version is no ordinary update. It lays the foundations for AI-enhanced hypervision. But what you discover in Canopsis 26.04 is just the beginning!
Future versions will go even further: AI assistant and anomaly detection in particular will evolve. Other language models will be supported, including internally hosted LLMs, to meet the sovereignty requirements of the most sensitive organizations.
Field-proven for over 10 years, our French and open source solution remains true to its commitments: control, transparency and sovereignty. We’re building a tool that’s built to last, auditable, scalable and rooted in the realities of IT teams.
Canopsis moves forward… with you!
