Rights management lets you administer access to the various Canopsis views and interactions for users through roles.

✅ Update 2023: Multi-role profile

This new addition to the rights management system now makes it possible to assign several roles to a single user. His rights are then merged.

The creation of profiles by administrators allows specific rights to be assigned to certain types of users, known as “roles”, in Canopsis.

✅ Updates 2025: Feature redesign with separation of UI and API rights

This update brings a major improvement in the management of rights, which are now divided into two distinct categories:

• rights dedicated to users accessing the UI interface and
• rights for API integrations.

This separation allows clear, relevant role configuration, while avoiding double entry of rights for GUI users.

Rights have also been redesigned to simplify and group them together: obsolete rights have been removed, new missing rights have been added, and categories have been intuitively reorganized.
