It monitors the performance and health of equipment, applications and services in real time to detect potential problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is an essential component of a company&#8217;s IT ecosystem for efficient IT infrastructure management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-benefits\">Benefits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Firstly, it enables incidents to be detected quickly and resolved before they become critical. It also improves service availability and reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another important point is that IT monitoring reduces maintenance costs by preventing breakdowns and optimizing the use of resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-transition-between-monitoring-and-hypervision\">The transition between monitoring and hypervision<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prometheus, Zabbix, Icinga, Nagios&#8230; There are <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Industrial_control_system\">many different types of monitoring software<\/a> on the market, and they can all coexist within the same company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But this multiplication is not without its problems.
