What are scheduled actions in Canopsis?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Scheduled actions<\/strong> in Canopsis 4.2<\/strong> are the result of the merger of two features: Actions and Webhooks<\/strong>. This grouping allows a given alarm<\/strong> to benefit from, not just one, but several actions! <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

Thanks to their interaction with the periodic behaviors<\/strong> of the Planning feature <\/strong><\/a>function, scheduled actions<\/strong> can also be customized according to pbehaviors<\/strong>: service windows, maintenance, breaks…<\/p>\n\n

The benefits of scheduled actions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

By centralizing all actions for a given alarm type in one place, scheduled actions simplify configuration and reduce the risk of error<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

This feature also removes the limit of “chaining” by proposing several actions for one alarm. It is then possible to create interdependence between scenarios<\/strong> and automate far more complex processes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Finally, the move from two engines, Webhooks and Actions, to a single engine, Planned Actions, reduces chain traversal time and i<\/strong>mproves overall platform performance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n
