Export functionality in Canopsis V4.2 <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A little extra that makes all the difference, here’s how the Export feature can be summed up. You can now export the contents of alarm lists and the context explorer in CSV format<\/strong>. Whether for counting, reporting or archiving… Now it’s up to you to carry out a posteriori analyses on third-party tools for exploitation purposes<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This feature can be accessed via the graphical interface<\/strong> (see screenshot below) or via the API<\/strong> (programming option \ud83d\ude09).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Correlation enhancement in Canopsis V4.2 <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Correlation<\/a> can be defined as the ability to group alarms according to objective criteria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Launched in May 2020 with version 3.40, this exclusive Canopsis Pro Edition <\/strong>enables alarms with the same cause to be grouped together, thereby reducing the number of alarms in lists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canopsis V4.2 adds not one, but two new features!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

#1 Enhanced value paths<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A correlation rule<\/strong> can now integrate several value paths<\/strong>. This is equivalent to adding several dimensions<\/strong> to the aforementioned rule, for ever greater granularity and relevance in the raising of alarms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the rules concerned, you can now choose between the “classic” rule and the “4.2” rule<\/strong>, which enables a more refined analysis thanks to the customization of the number of entities included in the calculation<\/strong>. Ideal for users of repository-less environments<\/strong>, who can then obtain relevant ratios on rule types! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
