Once an alert has been identified, the question arises of how to disseminate it&#8230; Should it be analyzed, shared, or simply <strong>notified to a specific person<\/strong>?    <\/p>\n\n<p>In certain contexts, particularly during on-call periods or outside working hours, the priority is above all to <strong>receive information immediately<\/strong>. This is where the integration between <strong>Canopsis<\/strong> and <strong>Gotify<\/strong> comes naturally. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-quoi-servent-les-notifications-gotify\"><strong>What are Gotify notifications for?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Gotify is a <a href=\"https:\/\/gotify.net\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/gotify.net\/\">push notification system<\/a> that sends messages directly to a terminal, whether a cell phone or a browser. It stands out for its simplicity and its ability to transmit information <strong>without depending on a collaborative tool<\/strong> or active consultation of an interface.<\/p>\n\n<p>This broadcast mode is particularly suitable when you want to :<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quickly report a situation requiring special attention<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guarantee receipt of information, including when on-call<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reach a specific person or group, without overloading other players<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>The notification then becomes a clear signal, immediately visible, inviting you to act or to consult the details.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-une-integration-simple-avec-canopsis\"><strong><strong>Simple integration with Canopsis<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>On the Canopsis side, the sending of a Gotify notification is controlled by a <strong>scenario<\/strong>, triggered by a specific event, such as the activation of an alarm. The scenario calls the Gotify API and transmits a structured message. <\/p>\n\n<p>This approach enables the message content to be adapted to the context: summary message, explicit level of seriousness, link to Canopsis for further information if necessary.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-un-exemple-concret-filesystem-plein-ou-machine-injoignable\"><strong>A concrete example: filesystem full or machine unreachable<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Take two common operating situations, for example:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A filesystem reaching a critical occupancy threshold<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A machine that becomes unreachable due to a network outage or hardware failure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>In Canopsis, these situations are represented by technical alarms, associated with infrastructure components or services.
